Hotel Monte Lírio was born from a simple vision: to give Espinho the hotel the town deserved. Since May 2016, we have been the meeting point between contemporary comfort and the authenticity of a town that lives with the sea as its backdrop.
Built from the ground up using premium materials and high-quality equipment, Hotel Monte Lírio has been designed for those who appreciate attention to detail – from the spacious rooms to the morning light streaming through the balcony.
Our Story
The decision to build Hotel Monte Lírio was made four years before its opening. Entrepreneur António Correia de Almeida recognised a clear opportunity: Espinho needed a hotel that would raise the standard of local hospitality. The result is a hotel with 44 accommodation units (28 Standard Rooms and 16 Suites) spread over two floors, with views of the sea, the swimming pool and the town.
Today, Hotel Monte Lírio welcomes both leisure travellers and business guests, always maintaining the same commitment: exceptional service delivered by a young, highly qualified and genuinely welcoming team.
The Hotel
All rooms feature a private balcony and have been designed with generous space to ensure easy mobility. Two rooms are fully adapted for guests with reduced mobility, and all public areas are fully accessible – with no steps and a lift suitable for wheelchair users.
On the top floor, the gym offers one of the hotel’s most privileged views: an uninterrupted panorama of the sea in Espinho.
Gastronomy & Leisure
Flor do Lírio Restaurant celebrates traditional Portuguese cuisine and is open to both hotel guests and the general public. The bar, overlooking the swimming pool, is the perfect place to begin or end your day at a relaxed pace.
